A non-stop, cardio fusion of standing pilates, boxing and dance that will push you past your limits for a sleek, sexy, and powerful you!
The PILOXING program uniquely blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with exhilarating dance moves and targeted sculpting and the flexibility of pilates. Optional weighted gloves help to increase toning of the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health. Put it all together, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! That is PILOXING cardio-fusion.
The PILOXING class is taught with a warm up to start increasing the heart rate and warming the muscles up ready for the mix of high intensity boxing moves and standing pilates.
The last 15-20 minutes of the class focuses on mat work targeting the glutes and abdominals followed by a stretch. To gain the most benefits, PILOXING is taught in bare feet or by wearing non-slip socks designed for exercise as this has a more natural effect for the pilates work. (Trainers can be worn though). A fun class for everyone.
